Vehicle Description
A prototype of the Diablo VT was unveiled at the 1992 Geneva Motor Show, and three years later came on the seen in America and has since been touted as THE high performance sports car with recorded speeds in excess of 200mph. In the words of Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson, the Diablo was designed "solely to be the biggest head-turner in the world." Our head turner features pearl yellow paint, a Westin racing rear wing and variable sized Lowenhart wheels, 18"s in the front and 19"s in the rear. This 1995 model VT features AWD unlike other Diablos that were made and the AWD system has since stuck around which is why most Lamborghini models now intricate it in the Gallardo and Murcielago. Also on the mechanical side, larger brakes, the addition of ABS brakes and a new variable valve timing system on the 5.7-litre V12 were introduced. Given the changes this created a faster 0-60 time in just 3.8 seconds and even 3.6 seconds when revving to 6000 rpm and sidestepping the clutch. We have service records available for viewing upon serious buyers. For more on this extremely rare automobile, call us 1-800-730-MOTOR. |
